Residential Setbacks
Front: 7.5m (R1/R2), Side: 3.0m, Rear: 7.5m
Sea Setback
Buildings: 15.0m, Sewage disposal: 30.0m
Maximum Height
7.0m near sea, 9.0m inland
Home Occupations
Permitted with restrictions on employees, signage, and nuisance
Secondary Suites
Maximum 40% of dwelling area, 90m² cap

  • DPA 1 — Coastal Areas (erosion, flooding, habitat protection)
  • DPA 2 — Stream and Ravine Areas (riparian setbacks)
  • DPA 3 — Eagle and Heron Nesting Areas
  • DPA 4 — Steep Slopes (geotechnical assessment required)
