Denman trustees adopt community plan and land-use bylaw
The Local Trust Committee adopted proposed Bylaws 185 and 186 at its May 15 meeting.

The Denman Island Local Trust Committee adopted the proposed Denman Island Official Community Plan, 2008, and the proposed Denman Island Land Use Bylaw, 2008, at its May 15 meeting.[1]
The committee also decided to forward an application concerning The Point to the Agricultural Land Commission.[1]
For a related rezoning application, the committee decided to take no further processing steps until the Agricultural Land Commission made a decision, while asking staff to compare a proposed restrictive covenant with the existing Komas Bluff Development Permit Area.[1]
The committee asked staff to contact a consultant about funding options for a Denman Island Farm Plan.[1]
