The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to initiate a Resolutions Without Meeting process to give first reading to draft Riparian Areas Regulation bylaws; the minutes say the process could be used for that step.[1]

Planner Rob Milne reported that attendees at an open house were supportive of the proposed bylaws, in his assessment, and suggested moving the drafts forward.[1]

Trustees discussed giving first reading to begin community discussion and referring the proposed bylaws to agencies for comments.[1]

The minutes say there was no budget for additional Riparian Areas Regulation mapping based on individual concerns.[1]
