Islands Trust Council held its quarterly meeting at the Denman Island Community Hall from September 12 to 14, according to the minutes.[1]
Denman local trustees David Critchley and Laura Busheikin welcomed the council to the island.[1] The minutes say Busheikin spoke about Denman accommodation, local festivals, businesses and farming.[1]
The council’s listed top priorities included Islands Trust Act amendments, oil spill and shipping safety, Crown Land protocol agreements and First Nations relationship building.[1]
