Denman’s Spookeasy Halloween dance is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, at the Community Hall, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. and the Palace Band set to play its first set at 8 p.m., according to the event notice. ^[1]

The notice says the six-piece band is from Errington and will play swing music; Denman’s Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and DJ Eliazar are also on the bill. ^[1]

A free swing dance class is scheduled for 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the day of the dance. The notice lists admission at $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and $5 for students at the door. ^[1]

A children’s party called the Hilarious Hall of Frightenstein is planned at the Seniors hall, with snacks, movies and music. ^[1]
