The Denman Community Land Trust Association asked Denman’s Local Trust Committee to consider an “affordable housing first” policy and to process multiple functions in parallel for affordable housing projects. [1]

At the October 3 meeting, Harlene Holm, speaking for the association, cited time lags and delays and said low-income seniors needed affordable housing. [1]

The minutes say trustees discussed a possible standing resolution at the next committee meeting and asked staff to investigate whether Trust Council’s Local Planning Committee might address the issue for trust-wide consideration. [1]
