BC Ferries is preparing a Terminal Development Plan for the Denman East and Hornby Island terminals and is holding a public drop-in session at the Denman Island Activity Centre on Thursday, November 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. [1]
The company says the plans are intended to guide phased terminal improvements, with attention to safety, efficiency and traffic backing up on the road during busy periods. [1]
Residents can comment on terminal features. BC Ferries says an online survey will also be available with its engagement material. [1]
The company expects to finalize plans for the Denman East and Hornby terminals in 2018. [1]
