The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asks staff to develop draft terms of reference for information about the proposed Seniors Affordable Housing Project’s water supply and sewage disposal systems, and to compile information needed to create draft rezoning bylaws. ^[1]

The committee also confirms that an application to rezone for seniors affordable housing may use densities from the 5% allowance in the Official Community Plan if the application goes forward. ^[1]

The decisions follow concerns raised by the Denman Community Land Trust Association about delays related to freshwater availability and sewage disposal system issues. ^[1]

The committee asks staff to contact the Vancouver Island Health Authority about concerns regarding recommendations for wastewater treatment proposals for the project. ^[1]
