A silent auction held November 18 raised $15,000 for the Denman Community Land Trust Association’s proposed Seniors’ Affordable Housing project, the Grapevine reported. The proceeds went toward the purchase of two acres for the project.^[1]

At a November 14 meeting, the Local Trust Committee considered the rezoning application. The committee asked staff to contact the Vancouver Island Health Authority about wastewater-treatment recommendations and to develop draft terms of reference on potential effects of the project’s water supply and sewage disposal on local groundwater.^[2]

The committee also asked staff to compile information needed to create draft rezoning bylaws. Its minutes record those requests, not a completed rezoning.^[2]
