Three electric-car chargers have been installed at the Denman Island Hall: one for cars of all makes and models and two Tesla chargers, according to a report by Eli Hason in this week’s Grapevine.[1]
Hason wrote that Friesen Family Construction donated the Level 2 charger and Tesla donated its chargers and their installation; Kinetic Electric did the installation.[1]
The chargers are available by donation, and Hason wrote that a donation box is to be installed.[1]
Hason said the aim is to encourage visitors to stop and charge their cars while checking out local businesses.[1]
