Denman Works! Society is seeking additional board members, according to a notice in this week’s Islands Grapevine. [1]
The notice describes the society’s work as supporting Denman’s economic and social health and lists programs including educational opportunities, community project grants, a job board, skills services and community event information. [1]
It says board members attend meetings and volunteer a few hours each month. The notice directs people seeking information or wishing to join the board to contact Society Manager Riane da Silva. [1]
