Denman Works! is inviting Denman Island-based non-profit organizations, and groups sponsored by non-profit organizations, to apply for Community Project Grants.^[1]

The notice says eligible projects must provide an economic benefit to Denman Island and may be new initiatives or enhancements to existing ones. Eligible costs can include equipment, materials, contractor fees, training, start-up wages for new positions and marketing.^[1]

The application deadline is March 31, 2018. The notice says applicants who submit before March 15 can have an experienced grant writer review their application at no cost.^[1]
