The Denman Island Local Trust Committee approved a development permit on August 7 for work on the existing trail and boardwalk at Morning Beach Park. ^[1]

The Comox Valley Regional District Parks Department’s application concerned work intended to improve public safety and decrease potential erosion, according to the meeting minutes. ^[1]

Trustees raised concern that warning signs at the site were being disregarded and disappearing, and asked the regional district to consider improving the signs. ^[1]
