The Denman Island Local Trust Committee gave first, second and third readings to a proposed bylaw amendment setting a $2,000 fee for non-medical cannabis retail licence applications, its August 7 minutes say.[1]
Regional Planning Manager Ann Kjerulf told trustees the proposed fee was based on the model Trust Council fee adjusted for inflation and included anticipated public-consultation costs.[1]
The committee forwarded the amendment to the Islands Trust Executive Committee for approval, according to the minutes.[1]
