Back issue. The Denman Firestarter did not exist on 2018-11-02. This edition was compiled on 2026-10-01 from the public record as it stood on 2018-11-02, and contains nothing dated after that day — no outcomes, no hindsight. It is a reconstruction of what was on the record at the time, not a document from the time. This edition.

The One Planet – One Island forum has scheduled a discussion called “The Low Carbon Diet” for Tuesday, November 6, at the Community School.[1]
The notice says organic auditor Lisa Pierce and food justice activist Fireweed will discuss food’s carbon footprint, ways of growing food that sequester carbon and possible barriers to adopting a lower-carbon diet.[1]
The event is listed for 6:30 to 8 p.m., with time set aside for questions and discussion.[1]
