The Denman Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to liaise with the Comox Valley Regional District about options and issues related to a proposed Denman Island beach trail.[1]

A representative of the Denman Residents Association Marine Guardians Committee presented the proposal at the committee’s November 20 meeting, seeking support for incorporating Denman beach walks into the regional district’s Greenway Master Plan.[1]

Trustees supported further exploration, including possible consideration of environmental, cultural and neighbourhood impacts and possible community and First Nation consultation, the minutes say.[1]
