2018 local elections nomination period and voting information

Nominations for local trustee positions for Denman Island and Hornby Island Local Trust Areas will be accepted from September 4 to September 14, 2018 at the Comox Valley Regional District office. The general local election will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Same-day voter registration is available with required identification. Mail ballot voting is available for qualified electors with physical disabilities or those absent on voting day.
