General local elections for Denman Island and Hornby Island Local Trust Areas will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, to elect two local trustees for each area for a four-year term. Nominations are open from September 4 to September 14, 2018. Same-day voter registration is available, and mail ballot voting is offered for qualified electors. The Comox Valley Regional District administers the election.
