The Better at Home transportation program on Denman and Hornby says it is ready to register seniors for rides with trained volunteer drivers.[1]
The service is intended for island trips to appointments, shopping, meals and social events, according to the program notice.[1]
Each registered client is entitled to two rides a month, the notice says. Seniors seeking information or registration are directed to contact program coordinator Dominique Husereau.[1]
