Denman community paramedics scheduled a free stroke-recognition and action clinic at the Denman Fire Hall for January 11 at 10 a.m., according to a notice in the Grapevine.[1]
The notice says the session will cover recognizing a stroke, what to do if one is suspected, prevention and early warning signs.[1]
A walking clinic is also scheduled to begin January 11, from 3 to 4 p.m., at Central Park; participants are asked to meet in the parking lot across from the recycling centre.[1]
