The Denman Island Local Trust Committee’s November minutes record that staff asked the Denman Housing Association for more information on groundwater supply, sewage disposal and protection of environmentally sensitive areas for its Denman Green rezoning application.[1]
The application seeks to reduce density on one parcel and allow up to twenty-five dwellings on another, including twenty rent-controlled affordable homes, the minutes say.[1]
The association’s representative told the committee that approvals were needed by June, 2019, under conditions of its BC Housing grant.[1]
