The Denman Housing Association’s annual general meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Activity Centre Lounge, where residents are invited to hear the current status of the affordable-housing project.[1]
The newsletter says residents can become association members by providing their name and address, with no dues payable.[1]
At its November meeting, the Denman Local Trust Committee considered the association’s rezoning application to increase a receiver parcel’s density to a maximum of twenty-five dwellings, including twenty rent-controlled affordable homes.[2]
The committee’s minutes say staff recommended that the applicant provide further information about groundwater supply, sewage disposal and protection of environmentally sensitive areas.[2]
