Blackberry Lane Children’s Centre plans a community consultation on February 12 about a proposed separate childcare centre on the cement pad beside the Community Hall. The meeting is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. in the Backhall.[1]
The centre’s current space in the hall can accommodate a maximum of 10 children a day, while 21 children are registered and six are on the waitlist, the notice says.[1]
The centre says it plans to apply for a provincial grant to build the new facility. The proposed design includes an interior atrium for community events.[1]
