Denman facilities funding change clears approval process

The Comox Valley Regional District Board received a report on January 29 confirming that an alternative approval process had passed for expanding the Denman Community Hall service to fund the Denman Activity Centre. ^[1]

The report said one elector response form was submitted, below the threshold required to take the matter to a referendum. ^[1]

The process followed a request from the Denman Island Seniors and Museum Society for help with operational and capital requirements, according to the report. ^[1]
