At its November meeting, the Denman Island Local Trust Committee considered a rezoning application from the Denman Housing Association to increase a receiver parcel’s density to a maximum of twenty-five dwellings, including twenty rent-controlled affordable homes. [1]
Staff recommended that the applicant provide further information about groundwater supply, sewage disposal and protection of environmentally sensitive areas. [1]
The applicant’s representative told the committee that approvals were needed by June, 2019 under conditions of the BC Housing grant. [1]
