The Denman Housing Association’s application seeks to reduce density on a donor parcel and allow up to 25 dwellings on a receiver parcel, including 20 rent-controlled affordable homes, according to the November meeting minutes. [1]

Regional Planning Manager Ann Kjerulf told the committee that staff recommended the applicant provide further information about groundwater supply, sewage disposal and protection of environmentally sensitive areas. [1]

Simon Palmer, speaking for the association, said approvals were needed by June 2019 under conditions of its BC Housing grant. He asked the committee to expedite the application and limit the requested information to the project site. [1]

The minutes record the application and discussion; they do not record a decision approving the rezoning. [1]
