Two wines made on Denman Island received silver awards at a competition in Rochester, New York.

Two wines produced by Selwyn and Pat Jones on Denman Island won silver awards at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, according to a report in this week’s Grapevine.[1]

The Marechal Foch Red and Blackberry Dessert Wine competed among close to 3,000 wines from 19 countries, the report said.[1]

The competition was held April 13 and 14, and Pat Jones checked the results on April 20, the report said.[1]
