Community School students from kindergarten to Grade 7 took part in field trips to Central Park from March to May as part of a Youth Nature Education Program, organizers wrote. [1]
Students in grades 3 to 7 used field guides to identify and research plants, invertebrates and birds, while younger students took part in a nature scavenger hunt and made art. [1]
The program was a collaboration between Denman Conservancy Association, the Community School and DICES, organizers wrote. They invited the public to a showcase at the Community School on May 29, scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. [1]
