At a June Local Trust Committee meeting, public comments included opposition to further consideration of the Bylaw Enforcement Notification bylaw until the Official Community Plan was reviewed, and concern that it could negatively affect housing opportunities.[1]

The minutes record that Wesley Ritter asked to be on the record opposing the bylaw until bylaws affecting housing had been reviewed.[1]

In the same meeting’s discussion, Trustee Laura Busheikin said evidence of targeted or unfair use of the bylaw could be brought to her for discussion and advocacy. The committee’s minutes also say trustees noted that features had been included to address housing concerns.[1]

The Grapevine’s calendar lists another Local Trust Committee meeting at the Denman Activity Centre on October 31.[2]
