The Denman Island Local Trust Committee requested an early referral to the Islands Trust Freshwater Specialist concerning the Denman Community Land Trust Association’s rezoning application, according to minutes of the committee’s November 7 meeting.[1]
The minutes say staff met with the association to discuss issues and ways to move forward, and would propose minor amendments to draft bylaws.[1]
The committee also considered comments from the freshwater specialist about terms of reference relating to a water licence, which the minutes describe as an important factor in moving the application forward.[1]
