Residents raised questions about the Denman Community Land Trust Association’s seniors affordable-housing project and Denman Housing Association’s Denman Green proposal during the Jan. 21 Local Trust Committee meeting. [1]

For the seniors project, public comments included support for site-specific zoning and objections to including it in a proposed R4 zone; speakers also asked the committee to accept three-metre setbacks and a conditional water licence as proof of adequate water. [1]

Comments on Denman Green included concerns about its proposed water supply, the amount of water allotted per day, consultation and unanswered questions, including fire-risk considerations. [1]

The minutes record these as public comments; they do not record a committee decision on either proposal at this meeting. [1]
