The Denman Dragons beat Lake Trail 36-8, then defeated the NIDES Navigators 16-6, according to a sports report in the Feb. 27 Islands Grapevine.^[1]

The report said Kayleb O’Neil scored three straight mid-range jumpers against NIDES when the game could have gone either way.^[1]

It also described Eliza Bryzgalski taking an elbow to the face while defending, then continuing to play.^[1]
