Denman Post Office staff have changed opening and counter procedures during the virus outbreak, according to a notice in The Islands Grapevine.[1]
The Post Office now opens at 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, after the Canada Post mail carrier has finished preparing outgoing mail and left the building.[1]
Only one person can be served at a time; customers are asked to wait on the General Store porch and step back two metres after placing items on the counter.[1]
The notice says Canada Post supplied a plexiglass shield for the counter and asks customers to pick up mail promptly because space is limited.[1]
