Denman’s Farmers Market is scheduled to open Saturday, May 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with 12 to 14 vendors, according to a notice from the Farmers Market Committee.[1]
The committee says only farmed food and food products can be sold this year under the rules it cites, and that baked goods must be boxed or bagged.[1]
New vendor and safety protocols are being developed for parking, line-ups, distancing, sanitizing and vendor spacing. The notice says volunteers will guide customers and asks visitors not to bring children or dogs.[1]
The committee says the market’s Nutrition Coupon Program will run again under the auspices of DICES.[1]
