Public comments recorded in January’s Denman Local Trust Committee minutes raised opposing concerns about Denman Green, the Denman Housing Association proposal.[1]

One comment opposed the project because it had no well and would rely on trucked water alongside rain catchment, and called for consideration of climate change and the proposed daily water allocation.[1]

Another comment opposed the project’s location and said the application had unanswered questions, including potential fire-risk considerations. The minutes also record a concern that the community had not had adequate consultation and should not have to wait until late in the process to receive information and provide input.[1]

The minutes record these as public comments, not findings about the project.[1]
