Denman’s first Farmers Market of 2020 took place last Saturday, with new COVID-resilient protocols for vendors and shoppers.[1]
Shoppers bought fresh vegetables, rhubarb, take-out food, sausages, jams and plant starts, according to a report by Laura Busheikin.[1]
The market committee and coordinator thanked the 10 vendors, volunteers and shoppers who took part in the rainy-day opening.[1]
The instructions asked shoppers to enter and leave through the lower gate, wait for a volunteer, move clockwise, keep two metres apart and keep moving through the market.[1]
