The Denman Island Community Education Society is seeking a secretary and a treasurer to join its council, according to a notice in this week’s Islands Grapevine.^[1]

The society says it provides programs and community support, including food security programs.^[1]

The secretary’s main role is to take and distribute meeting minutes. The treasurer would assist the executive director with financial matters, and the notice says support is available from experienced council members.^[1]

The notice also says the society’s summer day camp and afternoon programs are almost fully subscribed, with a few spaces remaining in listed activities.^[1]
