Denman Island’s Earth Club Factory Bistro & Guesthouse has reopened after almost four months of closure, according to a report in this week’s Islands Grapevine.[1]
Owner Sheldon Rempel said the restaurant closed shortly before provincial orders, and he used the closure to renovate the bistro floor and install new flooring and a range fan.[1]
The business offered coffee and snacks from an outdoor cart during the closure and provided take-out meals, including cabbage rolls, meat pies and spanakopita. The report says the take-out meals will continue.[1]
The guesthouse is offering private rooms; shared dorm rooms are not available, Rempel said. He also described plans to use the property as an outdoor music venue for up to 50 people.[1]
