A free Virtual Neighbourhood Walk for Denman and Hornby Island is scheduled to run from July 30 to Aug. 7, with participants able to walk outdoors or complete a distance indoors on a treadmill. [1]

It describes the project as a COVID-19 Neighbourhood Small Grants initiative intended to build community strength and wellbeing and alleviate social isolation while respecting physical-distancing guidelines.
