The Denman Island Community Education Society is preparing its Christmas Hamper Program and is seeking donations of gifts, non-perishable food, cash and cheques. Gift donations are accepted at Denman Hardware during business hours, while food donations are accepted at the Community School Portable on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 4 to 7 p.m.[1]
The society said hamper packing and gift wrapping are scheduled for Dec. 22 at the Community Hall. Volunteers are asked to wear masks and practise physical distancing.[1]
People seeking a hamper are asked to submit a registration form at the Community School Portable before Dec. 14. The notice says requests remain confidential.[1]
