Back issue. The Denman Firestarter did not exist on 2020-12-03. This edition was compiled on 2026-10-01 from the public record as it stood on 2020-12-03, and contains nothing dated after that day — no outcomes, no hindsight. Denman’s community nativity pageant is being filmed this year rather than staged live, according to a notice in the December 3 Islands Grapevine. ^[1]

The notice says filming took place in October and November, with scenes recorded in small groups or individually, mainly outdoors. Local actors, singers and locations feature in the production. ^[1]

The film’s link is scheduled to be available the week before Christmas, with an announcement planned for the Denman Island Bulletin Board on Facebook and in the Islands Grapevine. ^[1]
