The Denman Housing Association is working to resolve water-sufficiency issues for its proposed Denman Green affordable-housing project, after receiving information about Island Health’s requirements, the Denman Island Local Trust Committee minutes say.[1]
At the November 3 meeting, the applicant asked the committee to advance the rezoning application and schedule community consultation before its next meeting, citing financing deadlines.[1]
Trustees said they were willing to hold a special meeting if appropriate after receiving Island Health’s approval of the water source for review.[1]
The minutes record that the committee had not yet received that approval; they do not record a decision to schedule the requested consultation.[1]
