The Denman Island Post Office says customs information must be entered for packets and parcels leaving Canada, including Small Packet mailings, but not for lettermail.[1]
Customers can enter the information online before visiting the post office or have staff enter it at the counter, the notice says.[1]
The notice says customers who email their barcode to the post office should phone so it can be ready when they arrive.[1]
