The Denman Local Trust Committee said it was willing to hold a special meeting on the Denman Green application after Island Health water-source approval was submitted for review. ^[1]

At its November meeting, the committee heard that Island Health staff had met with the applicant and provided information about water sufficiency requirements; the Denman Housing Association was working to resolve related issues. ^[1]

The minutes say the applicant asked the committee to advance the rezoning application and schedule community consultation before its next meeting, citing financing deadlines. ^[1]

Earlier, a special-meeting presentation described a proposal for 20 affordable rental homes on the receiving parcel and said more information was needed before a public hearing could be scheduled. ^[2]
