Denman ferry director Bill Boulton dies at 88

Boulton, who spent his later working years directing cars on the Denman Island ferry, died in hospital on Feb. 9.

Bill Boulton, a longtime Denman Island resident who worked as a ferry car director, died at Comox Valley Hospital on Feb. 9. He was 88.[1]

Boulton was born in Winnipeg on June 6, 1932, and worked in forestry and logging when he was younger, according to his obituary.[1]

The obituary says he wanted to spend his final days in his home on Denman and received home care from nurses and a community paramedic.[1]
