A fundraiser is seeking donations toward fencing between the Pepper Lane seniors affordable housing property and its neighbours, with a draw for donated artwork scheduled for May 8.[1]
The notice from Debbie Frketich said the Denman Community Land Trust Association needed approximately $7,500 for the fence project and was still short of its goal.[1]
The Group of Several artists contributed original works for the draw. The notice invited donations by cheque, online or e-transfer and suggested donors could give an ICBC rebate cheque to the project.[1]
Minutes from a March 15 Local Trust Committee meeting record proposed changes to the Pepper Lane project, including a request to require fencing to mitigate noise and dust along the southern property line and both lengths of the driveway. The minutes describe the changes as requests for consideration, not as completed work.[2]
