The Denman Housing Association asked the Local Trust Committee to advance its rezoning application, including through third reading and ministry review, conditional on receiving a water licence. ^[1]

At the committee’s May 4 meeting, staff said a report on preliminary items was expected at the next meeting. A trustee said early review of information about water quality and quantity could help inform whether to give readings before a water licence was received. ^[1]

Simon Palmer told the committee that water and wastewater reports were being finalized and indicated the property could meet the project’s needs without conflict. ^[1]

The application concerns a proposed affordable-housing project. At a March meeting, Palmer said plans were to accommodate 20 units, and that a rezoning application had been submitted. ^[2]
