The Denman Island Local Trust Committee discussed the Denman Housing Association’s request to move its rezoning application forward at its May 4 meeting.[1]
The association asked the committee to advance the application through third reading and Ministry review conditional on receiving a water licence, according to the minutes.[1]
Staff said a report was anticipated for the next committee meeting, including progress on preliminary items, and suggested the committee could consider direction on next steps then.[1]
Simon Palmer, speaking for the applicant, said water and wastewater reports were being finalized and indicated the property could sustain the project’s needs without conflict; he said the reports would be sent to planning staff when complete.[1]
