Denman vigil raises $630 for residential-school healing

About 60 people attended a vigil at the Arts Centre on June 2 for the 215 children who did not return from the Kamloops Residential School, organizers wrote.[1]

Participants lit candles and observed 215 seconds of silence.[1]

The event raised $630, which organizers said would be donated to the Tsow Tun Le Lum Indigenous Healing Centre and the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc Nation.[1]
