The sign at Denman’s West Ferry landing was sanded and repainted on Sunday morning, according to a report by Peter Karsten in the Grapevine.[1]
Karsten wrote that he and John Mills started early because of record high temperatures, and that the carved letters and dogwood flowers were in good shape.[1]
The report says the anchor’s wooden plaque also received a new coat of paint.[1]
